The plastic intake will be an issue if you make it an issue, use the right safety switches, and use the nitrous the right way and you SHOULDNT have any problems. Im not saying youll be 110% fine, but youll lower the chances of braking something when you do it correctly. That includes a tune or at least checking the a/f, new plugs, lower timing, higher octane, all safety switches. A new pump and injectors might not be necessary.
