Hey guys,

I'm part of the club L.I. Stangs, and we've been meeting at a parking lot in the long island area on tuesday nights for some time. other car clubs show up too, of all makes. The parking lot was park or a shopping complex that had super markets, a wendy's and a pizzeria. we bought food and drinks from these stores when we were there. we did not do burn outs, or conduct races, or cause a disturbance in any way while we were there.

However a supermarket patron complained one week to the landlord that she could never find parking there when she came on tuesday nights. the police were informed, and last week they barred anyone that was "parked" there that their presence was no longer welcomed.

We started an on-line petition that we hope to present to the landlord. we've also gotten the owners and managers of the business to speak to the landlord. here is the link to the petition: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/2/re-...kdale-car-show. Without a racing complex on long island, we have very few places to meet and enjoy our hobby.

Please sign it. This might not directly affect you, however it might. We want to do this the right way, and not lash out and prove them right.
