If the seals leak oil this is no problem. Prochargers seem to have this problem. The P1-SC more so that the D1-SC.
Just dont send it to Procharger for the fix. They'll charge you $300.00 to put a $4.00 seal in. I have the seal number from Chicago Rawhide to replace it yourself if needed. When I got my D1-SC used with 3000 miles on it, I replaced the seals in it, then sent it in to Procharger to have them inspect the bearaings and all. It cost 105 for the inspection and rebadge cause the serial tag was all scatched up. If you do buy it used this is what I recommend.
As far as getting a complete supercharger setup for $2000. Dream on.
