I also have one or two as well. Stick with stock ones. Between Randy, Redneck, and I there is about 100 years of experience (99 just form those two). Redneck is one of the best mechanics on this board and Randy has been dealing with Ford parts and racing fast Fords for longer then most guys that you will ever meet on the internet.
If it were we me, this is what I would do. I would have the threads inspected and repaired before driving it. I am not a big fan of repeating a problem. Chances are that thing will blow again and they always find an inconvenient time. Get it fixed right and be done with it. I have a hard time believeing that any threads are left. ALSO, the remaining plugs need to be checked.
