So I am getting my car ready to paint (93 LX 5.0) after replaceing front clip and a few mechanical replacements and upgrades (A/c delete kit-CAI-etc..). The car has never sounded or felt or sounded so Right !! While I was rolling her back in the garage for the night after wet sanding and I had the ground wire disconnected & it was laying on the battery (stupid) and when the tire hit its
floor mark it jolted the car just the smallest bit and I watched the two cables touch & a few sparks later she won't start ??Checked the fuses in the fuse box checked the battery....Just went & bought a new multimeter & I'm brushin up on my Chiltons Basic Electrical Theory..! Anyways with a fully charged battery if I get in the car & turn key forward to acc (not start) all my panel lights & dome are dim & a few tic tics from up near the Alt.But when I try to start everything just goes more dim.. ...the first few starting attempts the bendix in the starter was ticking or at least trying to start.I'm just gonna start at the battery and go from there.. Now I have to put off paint a few days..Why do these things happen ????Is it just me ??Any feedback welcome!!!
