I installed a frpp aluminum driveshaft at the same time I did the 4.30s. That combined with a sct tune, it's running pretty good now for what it is.
The 4.30s make the car fun to drive around town. Right now I still have the stock torque converter, but will be installing a PI Stallion 3200 w/tranny cooler sometime this year.
It's a stock 4.6 long block and it was a gutless turd with the factory 3.27s. I couldn't afford a supercharger or cam install, so I went with gears. I needed something to compensate for the lack of bottom end torque of the 4.6 2v.
