As an american i think it is your duty to respect the position and office of the president
but i dont think you really need to respect the man.
just like in the military. It doesent matter how big of an idiot Captain Asshat is, after all, he IS a captain, and i had to listen to him and treat his rank with respect. But it was the rank i respected, not asshat himself
