i agree with r3dn3ck....do it yourself. if an unmechanically inclined idiot like myself can learn to do brakes, then so can you. taking stuff apart is easy for me, but getting it back together the same way is not easy....but once you do it a couple of times...it's not hard.
to hell with paying shops to do it. also don't buy cheap rotors and pads...you end up getting what you pay for. also if you're going through pads and rotors, you may have bad brake calipers....might be time to replace them.
