Georgia lost to South Carolina and Tennesse, both of which LSU beat. althought Georgia did beat Kentucky. LSU also holds the SEC championship over their heads. so i don't see how any of the teams in the top 5 can say they deserve it over LSU.
the whole no loss in regulation is not saying oh well we are so good at least we took it to overtime. it's saying look, we have all these teams that with only 2 losses.... what makes us different... well shit only losses we had were in overtime. yea they didn't get their business done.... but neither did Georgia.... Oklahoma....Virginia Tech.... USC.....
Kansas shouldn't factor in... they lost to Missouri...... who lost to Oklahoma twice.

LSU also lost at home, Oklahoma didnt. There are alot of factors invloved, but imo if you dont win your conference you shouldnt have a shot at the title game. So that leaves us with USC, LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
Ohio State is the only team with 1 loss and to win its conference ouright. They should get in.
Now deciding between the 2 loss teams..........
Va Tech lost to LSU by alot so that hurts them alot. They do have a 5 game winning streat with 2 ranked teams and one being BC to avenge an earlier loss. Both VT losses were to teams ranked in the top 15. Which are the best losses of any team on the list.
USC is arguably playing the best of any team right now and has a very good schedule. But they did lose to a really bad Stanford team which is the worst loss of any 2 loss team. Their QB was playing a broken hand though. But they are also have a win streak of 4 games including 2 ranked teams.
LSU lost the two weeks ago at home to unranked Arkansas. Neither Kentucky or Ark are ranked in the BCS so both your losses were to unranked teams too. Right now LSU is not playing like a #1 or #2 team in the nation, they played awesome for the first 4 or 5 weeks of the season but have had some close games and if it were not for Auburn and Florida givining games away LSU should be a 4 loss team.
West Virginia had its chance to be in the title game, all they had to do was beat Pitt at home. Granted White was injured, but still its Pitt. WVU's first loss was to #21 South Florida. If you lose your last game of the season you are out imo.
Oklahoma lost two games, both road games, and one to the #1 offensive team in the country in Texas Tech. Also during that game Sam Bradford was out of the game. The Colorado loss was their only bad loss since they had a 17 point lead and gave it up. Oklahoma has also beat their last two opponents by an average of 26 points including beating the #1 ranked team by 21.
And as I said before I was under the impression the title game was designed to put the two best teams in at the time of the vote. Imo Oklahoma is playing better than LSU and has the same record.
My rankings would be
1 - Ohio State
2 - Oklahoma
3 - LSU
4 - USC
5 - Virginia Tech
6 - West Virginia
