[quote=HokieStang00;295002]I Kansas is extremely lucky to be in a BCS bowl, and has absolutely nothing to lose in this game. VT on the other hand, has nothing to gain. We either bury you, and get no credit for exposing a basketball school with a soft schedule, or we lose, and it's considered a choke job. QUOTE]

I feel the same way about Illinois playing USC....SC doesn't have much to gain because if we win people will say we were supposed to and it really won't look impressive to the voters....however, I do think Mixbreed has a point about schools like Kansas and Illinois having something to lose...respect. I've said this over and over again, but respect is earned and it doesn't happen in one year so if Kansas, Illinois, and Mizzou can keep it up that's great.

Here is the dilemma for the voters when it comes to taking a 2 loss LSU team over a 1 loss Kansas team or even a 12-0 Hawaii team. If your a voter you have to ask yourself. Is a two loss LSU team who plays in the toughest conference in the country more impressive than a Kansas team who really didn't play anyone good other than Mizzou, who they lost to??? I understand it's not the players fault their schedule sucks, but you can't tell me a 1 loss Kansas team is more impressive than a 2 loss LSU team. No way.

Kansas is new at being good and trust me, you won't stop getting screwed next year either because I'm sure you still have a crappy schedule. Once the team gains a little respect you'll get better gains which equals better strength of schedule

In in no way a Kansas hater, but relax a little and give them a couple of years to develop a nice program. I think the problem with Kansas and Mizzou fans is they think this is a once in a lifetime chance to win something....that's why you guys are so impatient.
