FYI there are no states that allow 5% all the way around...some allow the back, some allow the rear sides, but max the front sides can be done are is 35%.
those of us who do have 5% all the way around, do so at our own risk. but "usually" and I say this lightly, if you're obeying the rest of the traffic laws and are being a good driver, they normally wont mess with you, but if you're speeding, or driving like a tool, then the cops will hassle you about it.
ive only been pulled over once for tint, but didn't get a ticket.
