I don't like 18's because they weight too much, slow the car down, cost you traction, ride is rougher and tires cost more. With all that, I would hope that you like the looks of 18's a lot, because you sure pay for them otherwise.
I agree with Iceman's comments. 17's to me are as big as a tire should be. Mustang's are a performance car. It seems crazy to me when guys do "things" to their cars that slow them down,
