By proper use i mean using the nitrous above 3,000rpms and dont hit the limiter with it either. Those two cause alot of the backfires you here about. The palte is nice, but i would look into more i dont know of anyone using it yet so you might wanna find someone who has it see what they think of it.

N/a cams will work good for nitrous as they will lean more on the intake side which means more nitrous will go in and more power. Main thing is read up my freind; i read for a good 4 months or so before i even looked into kits.
