Default 6/27/07 Track Report, 1st pass on the 100shot.

well i'm ashamed to say that Automatic cars might need atleast a little bit of skill to drag race..lol...anyways, i had a terrible night at the track, i was anxious to see what my car would of done with the 100shot pill...first off the nite started out crappy, the dang ambulance didnt show up until 8:30 or so, i thought the best of it and said "hey, longer cool down for my car".ok ambulance gets there i go to the staging lanes and they pair me off with this pro-stock chevelle(no mames)anyways did my burnout, armed nitrous, staged and green light hits im gone...and because i have an automatic i do my burnouts in L1,ok,by the time i know i hit the rev limiter(doh!!)of course lost alot of time there and slamed it into D and took off again, hit a 13.8 @ 105...i thought about calling it quits for the nite, but decided to run again...ok same thing, lined up against my buddy this time,so im less nervous...did a chitty burnout, but i had it in my head to put it back on D..burnout done, put it in D,armed nitrous, stage up...well took off but didnt hook for chit,i kinda lost it to the side almost going into the wall...got it straight and punched it again...this time hit a 13.2 @ 109, called it quits after that and went home...i looked over my 75shot best of a 12.4 and with the 60'foot that i busted out on the first one i think i couldve managed at least a 12.2-12.3,what yall think?
