Well, my Canton windage tray finally came in and I got the oil pan on today:

Gotta buy a 3/8th's phelonic spacer and mill it down to about a 1/4". Reason being, the Holley upper hits the tall FordRacing valve covers causing this:

Other than this the motor will be going back into the car this week. I can work on the steering rack with the motor in the car. Hope to be up and running by the end of Jan.

Couldn't get the wife to come off another 1K so no stroker kit,,,plain jane 302 (GT40 crate motor with 50k miles.)

Yeah, Cobra is gone.

I know, it does not make any sense getting rid of a 500hp car and going backwards, but I was bored w/the Cobra. Missed wrenching on something.
