As others have point out, stay away from that tuner. It is worthless except for on a totally stock car and the tunes are too conservative to make a difference anyway.
35 - 40 miles? Holy shit, consider yourself lucky. Most of us drive HOURS for a custom dyno tune.
Now, I am going to give you the best possible advice ANYONE could offer, so get a pen:
1 - Start with gears! Great mod and ANY decent shop can install these. You don't need a dyno tune for gears.
2 - Don't waste your time with a dyno tune unless you start really modding the car.
3 - You need to get something to calibrate your speedo after installing the gears or it will be way-off and rack up miles faster then it should. If you have an auto then you absolutely MUST calibrate the speedo or risk breaking the tranny....not to mention that it won't shift right.
4 - You can use one of the SCT devices already mentioned to calibrate your speedo. If you have an auto, you definately should get one of these as the tune will firm-up your ships, correct the speedo, and advance the timing for higher octane fuel. Just get a mail-order tune unless the car is modified.
5 - Now, if you have a dyno tuner that is close to you that uses Diablo products, then get that instead. I would choose the device based on what your local tuner uses. That way, when you mod further and need a dyno tune, you will have a device that your tuner can use w/o having to buy another new device.
6 - If you live in Hope Indiana, you should check out Modular Depot in Ohio. I believe they are in Cincinatti. They used to be an extremely reputable Mustang shop and SCT tuner, but I have not heard much about them lately. It will be a drive, but might be worth it.
That is all folks
