You may also want to try a little Lysol. I had an Aspire (yeah... funny) some years back that smoked a tranny. After a month when it was finally done the inside of the car smelled like someone died in there. Turned out to be mold or something similarly alive. I lysol'd the car till hell wouldn't have it and let it air out for a couple days. Problem about 95% solved. Would have been more but I'm a smoker and that makes stink stay.
