Statements like that go to show how ignorant you are. Mustangs have a long iconic history, starting with I6 engines in 1964. They were designed to be affordable, economic, sporty cars marketed to middleclass americans. V8s were a novelty. So the V6ers you seem to have so much disrespect for are MORE of a real mustang than your GT. I've owned 7 mustangs, and still have 3 of them. I've had a '78 Mustang II (2.3L 4cyl, still have it), '82 (2.3L 4cyl, 1st car), '95 (V6, 5spd), '00 (V6, auto), '02 GT (White, auto), '04 Mach1 (5spd, still have it), and finally another '02 GT (Mineral Grey, auto, my DD), and all of them were and still are REAL MUSTANGS. If its a Ford production car with Mustang stamped on it somewhere, then its a REAL MUSTANG.
I've seen Civics with mustang body kits, those are FAKE MUSTANGS.
