Diesels don't make a lot of hp....they make a lot of torque.

Sure, hp does not mean everything, but hopefully you got the just of what I was saying.

I think a better way to put what you were saying is that there are financial limits of what should be considered before starting to mod a car depending on what the car is. Me....personally, I would not sink a lot of money in a v-6. Then again, if I wanted to build a drag car, I would start with a high-milage v-6 for cheap. I would be changing the motor, tranny, and suspension anyway.

As far as fox bodies are concered. Cheap cars, for sure, but hard to find a nice one.
