if that were the case then this wouldnt be anything new. People have been beating the crap out of thier kids since the stone age. personally i believe it is cause parents are not allowed to dicipline thier children the way they should. I dont think they should kick thier ass, definatly smother the children with love, but at the same time they need that dicipline
