This si a good rule of thumb to follow:
n/a 5 speed - 4.10's
n/a auto - 4.30's
Power Adder - 3.73's
However, I have a 5 speed and Nitrous and I have 4.10's. They are perfect for the car. No problems at all. Keep in mind too that when you have nitrous, most of the time you are driving n/a.
My car is insane in second gear while spraying. First gear goes by soo quickly when spraying, no sooner does the solenoid open and I am shifting into second.
I am going to get my G-Tech hooked back up and post the results. I can compare g forces in each gear from when I went from 3.27's to 4.10's and then now with a 100 shot. The data is quite interesting as I already have all the info on the gear change. This is listed below:
3.27/4.10
1 st - 0.52/0.63
2 nd -0.36 /0.47
3 rd - 0.24/0.36
4 th - 0.15/24 g's
5 th - ?/0.15 g's
I will repeat the experiement with the 4.10's n/a and then do it with the 100 shot and then post the results.
