All depends on how much risk you want to take and how much boost you intend to make.
Running 400 hp at 12 lbs is more rough on the motor then making 425 hp at 8 lbs (if this is even possible).
Most guys would say 425 hp as a max safe point. I just had a conversation with a tuner who recomends 400 as a max. He feels the added 25 hp is not worth the added risk. His comment to me "running 425 hp on these motors with a blower is one bad shift from a blown motor".
Best advice I can give you is to run a max of 10 lbs of boost. Take whatever power you can make at that level, but don't exceed 425.
You may initially make 385 at 10 lbs and then add headers at make 400....still at 10 lbs. Make sense?
