The gauge install is really quite simple. I did it in about 20 mins. The power inverter box can be stuck inside behind the instrument cluster using the double sided tape on the back of the box. I just laid the box in there. There really isnt any way for it to dangle and put stress on the wires. The easiest way to connect to the positive wire is using a tap-in connector or scotch connector.

Just make sure you get the accessory power. Pull your headlight switch out and use a multimeter to see which wire has power when the key is on and the headlight switch is on. Only then should you see power.
