I bought a Steeda oil seperator a few days before r3dn3ck and a few others had posted up about the kits. When I got it there were problems, the hose didn't fit, two of the screws were too big for the bracket, and the filter is really small(which is fine for me because I wont put that many miles on it).

I called Steeda and they said to call stangmods.com where I ordered it from, I did and they said they would take it back but I decided to make it work since it is a universal kit if I sent it back for another one the same problem would occur.

My questions is, is the plastic tube (that goes accross the intake manifold that is apart of the PCV system) needed? To make the kit work I am going to need to bypass this plastic piece and I thought it might be one of those things Ford intended to keep on the car when using the PCV setup.

Again so for it being so long but I need help ASAP. Thanks
