Default Applying 3M side stripes

Just got my stripes in and I need some expert advice or opinions on what to do next:

I've never done this before, but I did do my bumper inserts w/o too much trouble.

I've checked out websites on how to install the stripes ( squeegie first, peel, etc,).

I am semi-confident I can do it myself But:

I don't have a lift to get eye level with the side of my car.
I don't have a shop to park it in and my garage is full of junk. no parking in there.
I'm not really sure if i can keep out the dirt and/or dust level when applying.

I guess what I want to know is What would you do? Should I get a detail shop to do it? How much would I have to pay for this? And last but not least the stripe needs to be cut to make room for the letters. BTW where it normally would say mustang it say's 4.8 L V8.

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.. It's not a very expensive thing to scrap in case I screw it up. but I want it to look good and last for a while too..
