Yeah CAI's suck that is a waste of time. Just buy a K&N drop in filter and you'll see pretty much the same kinda gains compared to a cold air intake. CAI are a waste of money for stangs and really any car. If you're dead set on buying a cold air intake buy either a steeda one or a K&N one. I'm 17 yrs old and drive a bullitt that has some cool mods. Be responsible becuase you can blow it all away with one false irresponsible move. I'd say exhaust(Critical and sounds amazing, 4.10 or 3.73 gears depending on your transmission, and a good tuner like the SCT Xcalibrator 2. As far as brands my opinion is the following:
Exhaust- Magnaflow catback and Mac Prochamber off road h-pipe (i have this setup and it's amazing
Tuner- SCT Xcalibrator 2
Gears- FRPP (Ford Racing) 3.73 gears if you are auto trans. or 4.10 gears if you have a standard trans.
This setup is guaranteed to make you happy. Seriously though i have been lucky and have had young irresponsible friends of mine destroy fabulous cars simply by showing off or something stupid; if you aren't 100% ready it will bite you in the ass and you'll end up with a destroyed car or dead with a destroyed car. Be safe, but have fun you're only young once (that's why i went with my car and setup).
