voice of reason here...
You're 16, so you haven't been driving long. Why not save that 2 grand and gather interest on it until you turn 18 or 19 so you have some time to learn the ways of the road. Everyone likes to say they're a good driver but almost noone is. Hopping up a car you just got isn't the best way to go. Take some time, reflect on whether spending 2grand before you've even gotten used to driving it is such a good idea.
I'm not baggin on you for being young, I was once. I'm just saying you should save the money for a while...maybe drop a grand and lower the car and put a nice sounding exhaust on it so you can have some pride and not get ribbed too hard by your peers and then, just enjoy it. Get a job if you don't already have one and save up for a blower and other higher end mods. Don't waste money on CAI's and crap like that until you've had the car for a while.
