I believe I figured out my problem. I'm going to tear back into it tonight and see if I'm right. The Cam followers ride on Adjusters (lifters) .The adjusters are hydraulic. I didn't take them out and bleed them like my shop manual says. Totally overlooked that step cuz :bash: I was useing the "How to Install Aftermarket Cams & Springs" from Modular Depot. :censored: The adjusters should be compressed in a vise or C-clamp and put into a container of oil so they pump up. The engine sat for about a week before I finished the Cams. Probably leting them fill with air. The noise I have is clattering on the top end more so on the passenger side. Sounds just like a old failed hydraulic lifter from a pushrod type engine except more of them. I purposely left out what brand and type of Cams cuz a lot has been said about the Cams I bought. But here you go COMP CAMS 278"S Gasp! Stay tuned for the follow up. I'll let you all know within a couple days.
