Yah, black is definatly higher maintenance, but if you keep it up it looks spactacular. This car never has, nor ever will see a bristled car wash. Normally i just tak it down the road to the DIY carwash and blast it with the high pressure wash, never the scrub brush, then i drive it home and dry it off with some drying towels., Once it is nice and dry i spray it down with this stuff i got (miguells os something like that, cannot remember the name) and wipe it clean. I have Turtlewax black wax that i will use one month, and the next i will wax it with another type of wax (miguelles's again i think, i can never remember what it is though).
Every other day i give it a quick once-over with a "glossier" hand wipe.

Right now it without a doubt has the deepest shine i have ever seen on a black car. You can almost lose yourself in it. <g>

I have a garage to keep it safe, but unforutnatly there is a used hot tub in there i have not gotten moved yet. Once i get it moved im gonna garage my stang and probably keep it covered. Save up 1000-1500 and buy a cheap used old beater car to get to work and back and drive during crappy weather.
Keep my whip in prime tip-top condition, make a project car out of it.

I really like this board, nice friendly people here. I havent seen any trolls either.
