I was reading a thread somewhere just a week or two ago that covered this. It seemed to suggest that PTV contact was an issue with many of the more aggressive cams.
I can't see how the springs would have anything to do with PTV issues until you get higher in the RPMs than just hand turning though. The cam, followers and valve height are (unless I'm pulling a stupid again and missing something) the only bits that should affect the gross lift. I didn't know about any sprockets that Ford b0rk3d but that's of great interest to me. Any info on that that's more specific? Years, trims, etc..
Would it help to advance or retard the cam a degree or two? I don't know of any adjustable cam gears that would allow it for 2V motors so I don't even know if it's possible.
Am I totally off base?
