Well, with the 302 based engines, the biggest hold up or bottleneck seems to be the heads, so Id say go with some afr 165s or even 185s if you are brave. Also, get rid of the stock intake and cam. This prolly wont get you to the 400 mark, but I have no experience other than what I have read about. If you really want 400 hp, you really should look into some nitrous. Its not that bad of a thing, and its not cheating. The people that say its cheating are the ones who spent 5 grand for a s/c and are pissed cause the guy with the bottle just beat them for 4 times less. LOL, anyway, back off my soapbox...Id say heads, cam, intake, and maybe a 50 shot and youll be there. Oh and your torque is going to be KILLER if you do this.
