Your block will be fine. With heads, exhaust and cams you will be making some real good power. Everything should hold up fine as long as you get a good tune, any amount of detenation and you pistons are gonna break. Honestly, once you get all your parts installed and tuned correctly, Id slowly start to save up for a rebuild because sooner or later you gonna have to do it. The price of Mod motor parts have started to come down a little bit. For like $1899 you can get a shortblock from D.S.S. with forged pistons, that will handle some serious street power.
