I say "get it." I have read posts from guys who what claimed to have past and some even had cams. But, some have failed with cams.
A mid pipe is oh, so easy to pull off before an emissions test and put back on the car if you run into any trouble.
Warrenty question? Crap, there is so much inconsistancy on that topic. Make friends with the service manager and hope for the best. Personally, I believe that if someone is really concerned about warrenty, do not mod the car at all. Ford can always make your life difficult by claiming the mod caused a failure.
