Does anyone have 4:10s in a 02+??? If so what rpms are you running at 70??? They said about 2400, but that doesn't sound right, I think they were just trying to get some business.

you overdrive is .62 in the t-3650, t-45 is .68 at 70mph. I run 2700 in my 98.

I drive my car with 4.10's 82 miles a day just as a commute to and from work, the car has 109k miles and I did a compression test 3 thousand miles ago and my numbers were Extremely healthy for the mileage ranging from 175-192psi.
Steen knows what they are talking about, you will LOVE 4.10's, the only way I personally would back down a gear is for a power adder and then with my car i would step to a 3.90 so that I would be crossing the traps in the sweet spot of the HP curve.
the guy who said you will blow up your motor is an idiot, I suggest you try a few more sites for advice. The number #1 for technical advice on modular mustangs is modulardepot.com I am on 10 mustang boards and it is by far the most technically sound one i have found.
I'm happy to find this board, though, you can never have to many people to talk to about mustangs.
