I appreciate your zeal and many will side with you. Fact is, I have never heard of a 4.6 motor ever going bad that did not fail because of something someone screwed up. These motors are good for 200k+...if running a few higher rpms takes some time off the clock, I really don't know if it will matter much in the end.
